Who We Are

emilie Emilie Blythe McDonald is an NYC-based filmmaker, writer and actor.  A Vassar grad with a degree in film and drama, she has worked behind and in front of the camera in many productions ever since.  She was Director of Development for Milk & Honey Films, and Creative Director for Filmmakers Alliance.  She founded the Fervent Theater Group in Los Angeles before relocating to NYC.  She co-produced, co-wrote, and acted in My Elena, a short film completed in 2008, and is now writing a feature film based on a true story.  She currently works at Brooklyn Academy of Music as a membership representative.  Contact Emilie.
bruce Bruce Smolanoff currently works in fundraising and customer relations at The Brooklyn Academy of Music. He has also managed fundraising campaigns for a long list of arts organizations, including Jazz At Lincoln Center, The Vineyard Theater, Carnegie Hall, New York Theater Workshop and more. As an actor/director he can also be seen in several episodes of Law & Order, The Sopranos, and Third Watch. He recently directed the short film MY ELENA and has also directed off off Broadway productions at HERESurf Reality, Collective Unconscious, The Actors Studio, Kraine, Bowery Poetry Club and was a directorial consultant on Stephen Lang’s Beyond Glory which ran on Broadway at the Roundabout.  Contact Bruce.
tt_roof Tom Tenney is a producer, director, performer, filmmaker, writer, and a Social Media Producer at one of the media behemoths.   He was a resident producer at Surf Reality’s House of Urban Savages from 1998-2003, and created its flagship show, Grindhouse-A-Go-Go! As a performer, he’s been seen in Robert Wilson’s production of Hamletmachine, the opera Salome at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and on underground stages all over the country.  Tom is a graduate of Ringling Brothers’  Clown College, and the former booker for the Chicago Improv comedy club.  He is the founder of Toxic Pop, a weekly newsletter and online community for NYC performance and is currently enrolled in the Media Studies program at The New SchoolContact Tom.
Marie Mundaca is a native New Yorker, literary critic and performer. She co-hosted the popular public access show Rools Like Ozzy, produced eXtremeNY.tv, and participated with the film production team Pretty Little Heads in two 48-Hour Film contests. Her articles on the late writer David Foster Wallace have been reprinted by media outlets all over the world. Her cats are youtube-famous.  Contact Marie
